About Keystone Drug and Alcohol
Keystone Drug and Alcohol is a privately owned outpatient treatment provider serving
individuals and families throughout Northeast Pennsylvania. Keystone provides comprehensive
substance use and behavioral health treatment services to both adults and adolescents in a
supportive and recovery-focused environment.
Keystone Drug and Alcohol currently serve individuals from Luzerne, Wyoming, Lackawanna,
and Susquehanna counties and has the capacity to serve up to 105 clients.
Services Provided
During 2025, Keystone Drug and Alcohol continued to provide the following services:
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Outpatient Treatment (OP)
Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
Individual Therapy
Group Therapy
Drug and Alcohol Assessments
Case Management Services
Recovery Support Services
Keystone remains committed to providing individualized treatment focused on recovery, relapse
prevention, stabilization, and long-term wellness.

The program serves clients experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral
health concerns throughout Northeast Pennsylvania.
Quality Improvement Initiatives
During 2025, Keystone Drug and Alcohol implemented several quality improvement initiatives
designed to strengthen clinical care, documentation standards, and coordination of services.
These initiatives included:
Transition to the Sunwave Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Ongoing staff training and education
DDAP compliance improvement efforts
Tobacco and nicotine screening implementation
Increased Primary Care Provider (PCP) coordination efforts
Enhancement of ASAM documentation practices and clinical assessments
Keystone remains committed to continuous improvement and maintaining compliance with
Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs regulations and standards.
Community Collaboration
Keystone Drug and Alcohol maintain strong working relationships with referral sources and
community partners throughout the region.
The program collaborates with:
Local courts
Probation departments
Parole departments
Community referral agencies
Medical and behavioral health providers
These collaborative efforts help support continuity of care and improve client access to treatment
and recovery resources.
Staff and Leadership
Keystone Drug and Alcohol employ clinical, medical, and administrative staff dedicated to
providing ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment services.
Leadership and staff continue to participate in ongoing training and professional development
opportunities to enhance service delivery and compliance with state regulations.
