The mission of Keystone Drug and Alcohol is to assist the alcoholic and drug dependent individual to achieve three long term goals;
1. Abstinence from all mood altering chemicals.
2. Utilization of alcoholics anonymous/narcotics anonymous to support their efforts and to maintain abstinence and recover from effects of this disease.
3. Begin and maintain an improved lifestyle that is chemical free.
The goal of treatment at Keystone Drug and Alcohol is to help people return to a productive life, which includes optimal family functioning and productivity at work and in the community. It is the desire that each patient achieves the realization and fulfillment of their talents and maximizes their potential.
PROJECT'S PURPOSE AND PHILOSOPHY
Purpose:
Keystone Drug and Alcohol is a for profit drug and alcohol facility located in Wyoming, PA. The project provides outpatient counseling and utilizes evidence and scientific based treatment modalities. It is this integrated mix of therapies that makes Keystone Drug and Alcohol a unique, challenging, informative and highly stimulating treatment service. The program addresses the whole person, with a holistic approach focusing on the physical, emotional, and behavioral needs of the patient. Patient care is focused around an individualized treatment plan designed to address the multi-faceted needs of each individual patient. The facility creates a healing and therapeutic environment void of disruption, overlap, or conflict, therefore, resulting in enhanced delivery of services to the patient in a seamless manner.

Ronald Emlaw has been in the addictions field for decades, (both personally and professionally). Mr. Emlaw and the staff developed Keystone D&A with idea that every addict deserves the right to lead a healthy and purposeful life.
